Cooking
My first hobby is cooking. The reason I love cooking so much is because of the freedom it gives me when I'm cooking meals. I get a lot of room for creativity and can test mixing new flavors together. There is also the creative freedom to be able to put food on a plate in a way that makes it look beautiful. Food can look more appetizing when it's plated well because you eat with your eyes first. I currently work in a kitchen, and I love it, but I feel it is time to move on due to how much of a toll the stress of working in a kitchen can take your body. No matter what I will always love cooking.
Streaming
Another hobby of mine is live streaming on twitch (a live streaming service). I enjoy streaming because it lets me connect with people from all over the world who have the same interests as me and like the same games I do. Through streaming I am able to meet and connect with many people and learn a lot about other cultures around the world. I have met people from the Netherlands, Japan, Austrailia, New Zealand and many more. I usually stream myself playing a variety of video games that include Osu! Rocket League, Minecraft and others.
Video Games
This brings me to my next hobby which is playing video games. I love video games because at their very core are all thinking of ways to solve problems. The feeling of improving at a game feels good, espescially when there are ranks involved. A couple of examples would be Osu! and Rocket League. In Osu! I am rank 55,000 in the world out of the 10+ million active players in the game, and thats a good feeling to have, and in Rocket League I am ranked in the top 0.1% of the 18+ million active players in the game. The improvment and knowledge you gain from becoming good at something like a video game can also be brought into real world issues and can help you look at situations from muiltiple perspectives to help give you the best possible solution for a problem.
